| A binding estimate of cost: When we are given a
list of items, and an exact delivery address, we can provide you a
guaranteed cost well in advance.

little space. |
| The non-binding estimate: We always start by discussing what
you'll be moving, and can provide you with a fairly accurate cost over
the phone. But the normal move is charged by actual weight. Our trucks are weighed at a
certified scale before they arrive at your residence. Your goods are
then loaded and the truck is re-weighed. This is the industry standard way to determine the proper charges. We subscribe to a
tariff originally based on the American Moving and Storage Associations
efforts. You are also welcome to view
the weighing of the truck, and request a re-weight if
you disagree with the tickets. If the re-weight determines to be higher, you
will still be liable for the actual charges. |
